OPENING :
Assalamualaikum/Good... Good morning ladies and gentle men
The honorable …. The honorable ….
And to my lovely friends

motto/jargon, how are you today, other yelling. Be creative!)
First of all, lets praise Alloh SWT who has
given us a lot of gifts since we got into this world. Shalawat and salam please
be upon to the prophet Muhammad Saw and to his families, friends and brotherhood
of Islam all around the world.
The honorable audiences, I would like to say thanks for your coming. I am your name, one of delegation
from Insantama SHS.
It’s a
pleasure for me standing in front of you now. In this happy time, I would like
to tell you about LKMA.
2.
WHAT :
LKMA is Latihan Kepemimpinan dan Manajemen Tingkat Akhir or in English,
Advanced Management and Leadership Training. This is an
annual program of SHS Insantama which is organized by OSIS and the 12th grade.
So, every 12th grade will face this program.
It is the ultimate program of a various gradual
training programs which are held by Insantama SHS since the first grade. At the
first year we need to do the first LDK (Basic Leadership Training). Here we did
a long journey from Bogor to Cianjur as far as about 60 kilometers by foot. We also did fundrising only in two days effective.
But we did it! First LDK has made us know the basic of leadership ability and
believing of our own strength.
And then at the second grade we held the second
level training, it is LKMM (Intermediate Leadership Training). Here, we did a problem solving program
to the suburb area in Indonesia by applying a SWOT analysis to cope the problem
of the village there. That was held in Dawungsari Village,
Garut, West Java. What is SWOT?
Swot is Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat. By this method we could
solve some problems of the village. And anyway, this method is also used by the
professors or other experts to solve their companies’ problems.
At the 2nd grade also, SHS of Insantama held a big
competition entitled “SMENTION” or Smart Teen Competition. It’s an event that
organized by the OSIS. At 2015, the SMENTION level has been advanced to be higher and more
chalenging because of its national standardize. We learnt how to build a good
teamwork there. And we got it!
Then finally, this year we will hold LKMA, it is the final stage of our
training. Its program is done by overseas conquering. The event participants
are the 12th grade of course, the coach, some from our foundation and some from
Students’ Parents Committee.
3. WHY :
We
consider that LKMA as an important event. Because this program can strengthen
the basic knowledge of our transformational leadership. Why do we need a transformational
leadership?
Because
we realize that :
Our country faces
globalization and modern era. Based on/in line with “Collect” book,
which is written by Thomas Lickona and Louis Kraar at 1988, and Jared Diamond
of his book, “Collapse”, in 2005, Indonesia is very potential to be a failed
state. And based on the fund for peace and foreign policy magazine 2012,
Indonesia is in the 64th rank of the failed states index. (If u
dont mind, you
could just mention the reasons are... in your words)
And
transformational leadership as the most effective leadership model is the best
solution to develop our country. Transformational leadership is also the newest
model of leadership which can complete the previous leadership models. Just for your information, there are 5 models of
leadership, they are:
1. Traits
model of leadership
2. Model
of situational leadership
3. Model
of effective leaders
4. Contingency
model
The last is..
5. Transformational
Leadership.
And some professionals thought that this last
model can
change people’s cogitation and bring the undergird alteration. Because only
with the Transformational Leadership, we could get the answers for the 10
demands of the future. Those demands are :

Leadership
from everybody

Control by
vision and values
6. Information shared

So,
how to make Transformational Leadership real? There are 7 things that should we
have.
1. Worldview
2. Personal
Value
3. Motivation
4. Having
knowledge about industry and organization
5. Having
strong relation
6. Having
reputation and record script
7. Having
leadership and managerial ability
But worldview is the most important of those points
above. Because, worldview is our aqidah, our ideology, that will be the path of
our life. It is simillar with a direction that lead us how to achieve the
goals, or why we have to get the goals?
And by doing LKMA we get this 7 things. Which
means, we get the transformational leadership.

1. At 2006, 326 Japan Companies are written on the Forbes Global.
2. Regarded as a global leader in scientific exploration and basic
technology.
3. 13 of Nobel Prize winner in the world winners come from Japan.
4. In the ease of doing business index, Japan is in the 12th rank and
is one of the progress countries with the simplest of bureaucracy in the world.
5. Tokyo University is in the 11th rank as the best university in
the world makes Japan today become a world reference in the field of education
Moreover, LKMA: Swings to Japan could increase
the students’ knowledge about Japan. About the cultures, society, education
system, and also knowledge about the relationship between Japan and Indonesia.
It will build a better understanding, wont it?
And
by knowing the relationship, we could establish institutional relationship between Insantama SHS and institutions visited in Japan.
4.
WHERE & WHEN :
So, what institutions that will be visited in
Japan? They are Tokyo University, Indonesian Consulate, Islamic Centre in
Japan, Boarding Schools (SHS) and many others. And this event will be held at
1st until 8th of November 2015.
(Improve if you wanna tell how short
is that, or you do believe that the sakura will miss ya or other. Put a little
joke is okay. Be creative!)
By the way, LKMA 2015 is the 4th LKMA of SHS
Insantama which means it has been organized by 3 generations so far, so soon,
we will be the 4th generatioin in holding this program. Our generation is called
Avicenna. At 2012, the 1st LKMA conquered Malaysia. They were really success. Mr.
Bintang Pamungkas, the leader of PPI UM said that our seniors were crazy
students. ‘Crazy’ in positive meaning of course.
The
next LKMA was amazing too! Our senior were success conquering Malaysia and
Singapore. They visited NUS, Cari Tau Lagi, dan Tempat Keren lainnya. This was
held in November 2013. At the KJRI, Mr. Dr. Andri Hadi has said that our
seniors as if not as SHS students anymore, but looked like college students of
4th level.
And before us, at 2014, our exact seniors were
success to conquer Australia. They came to Sydney University, Wolongong
University, Islamic Centre, Tempat Kece Lagi, and even they visited the Opera House!
What a beautiful experiences! It was the bonus of what they had been through
all along. And Mr. Nicholas Manopo from The Idonesian Consulate in Australia
called them as “Diplomat”.
5.
HOW :
How to realize this event? We do fundrising. How
much the budget that should be rised? We need Rp 850.500.000,00 (eight hundred
fifty millions and five hundred thousand rupiahs). The detail data of our needs are written in the
proposal. There are some sources so we can get the fund.
And the sources of the fund are from :

Our own savings
We do savings since we were in the
first grade. Everyday 500 rupiahs is collected by each of us. And the nominal
was increased at the 2nd grade, everyday we should save 1000 rupiahs.
Halal
Creative Funds
If
we have lot of free time, we sells some traditional foods, such as Cireng,
Cimol, Cilok, Batagor, Roasted bread, fried rice, and even we sells ice cream!
And sometimes, we hold a simple cinema in the dormitory. And for every student
who wants to watch the movie, he should pay about 3000 rupiahs.
Insantama Cendekia Foundation
It is the fund that given by our foundation.
Like prizes because of our efforts.

We
ask the proposal to the donors, and offering to be interlaced with this
program. From the donor, we get the fund of LKMA without any compromised or
dealing about banner, logo, and others.

We are very glad doing this program but we will be more and more motivated when

generation of our nation.

CLOSING :
I think that’s all my presentation about my and my friends’ big dream.
